dog shampoo/ A Natural Shampoo For Your Pooch

This Natural Dog Shampoo Bar is crafted with the power of natural ingredients to nourish your dog's coat and skin. We understand the importance of keeping your dog clean and healthy, which is why each shampoo bar is handmade with natural ingredients.

Lavender: Lavender has calming, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. It soothes and protects your dog’s skin while providing a gentle, relaxing scent.

Rosemary: Rosemary is naturally deodorising and aids in healing cuts and scrapes. It helps keep your dog’s coat fresh and clean and promotes faster healing of minor skin irritations.

Cedarwood is a natural flea and tick repellent. It helps protect your dog from unwanted pests, making it perfect for even the most adventurous pups.

Coconut Oil: Rich in nourishing and moisturising properties, coconut oil hydrates and softens your dog’s fur. It improves coat shine and overall skin health.

Oatmeal provides soothing relief for dry, itchy skin. It calms irritation and maintains skin moisture, making it perfect for dogs with sensitive skin.

Turmeric: Known for its anti-inflammatory benefits, it helps reduce skin inflammation and irritation. It contributes to a healthier coat and more comfortable skin.

At Friendly Soap, we believe in keeping this simple and sustainable. This is why our Cruelty-Free Dog Shampoo is vegan, plastic-free, and free from palm oil and preservatives, ensuring a gentle and eco-friendly choice for your dog.

Directions for use:

1. Preparation

Gather Supplies: Natural Dog Shampoo Bar, warm water, a clean towel, and a brush.

Brush Your Dog: Before bathing, gently brush your dog’s coat to remove tangles and loose fur.

2. Wetting the Coat

Warm Water: Use warm (not hot) water to thoroughly wet your dog’s coat. Ensure the water reaches the skin for a more effective wash.

3. Lathering

Apply the Shampoo Bar: Rub the Natural Dog Shampoo Bar directly onto your dog’s wet coat. Focus on areas with more dirt or odour.

Create a Lather: Hand massage the lather into your dog’s coat using circular motions, working from head to tail. Be gentle around sensitive areas like the face and ears.

Avoid the Eyes: Keep the shampoo and lather away from your dog’s eyes to prevent irritation.

4. Rinsing

Rinse your dog’s coat thoroughly with warm water until all the shampoo is removed. Ensure no residue is left behind.

5. Drying

Use a clean towel to gently dry your dog. For dogs with thicker coats, you may need more than one towel.

6. Aftercare

Once your dog is completely dry, give them another gentle brush to ensure their coat is smooth and shiny.

7. Storage

After use, allow the shampoo bar to dry completely before storing it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. This will extend the bar’s lifespan.

Tips:

If your dog has sensitive skin, do a patch test before the first full bath. Test a small amount of the shampoo on a small area of your dog’s skin. Wait 24 hours to check for any allergic reactions.
